The Clercks

The Clercks play indie rock and formed in Paris in 2004. They are now living in Manchester. Their first single was realeased this summer. It is called “The Dissidents” and is limited to 500 copies. Can be purchased here.

The Answer

“The Answer” is an Irish Rock Band. Their first LP is called “rise” and was released on June this year. The album was recorded at Olympic Studio 1, Monnow Valley in Wales and the Albert Studio in London during the fall of 2005. Website here.

The Raconteurs vs. The Saboteurs

The Raconteurs (the rock band featuring Jack White and Brendan Benson), have decided to change their name for Australia alone, and will be called “The Saboteurs” only in that country.
The idea is to avoid confusion with another band (jazz) well know in Australia. Get more info here.

“The Beatings” : band formed in 1998

“Their first full length was released in 2002, but they had released a criticly acclaimed Ep titled “6 Hz” in 2001 and had been playing out and touring the US since 1998 – 1999.
